Ledmore & Migdale Wood, 7th April 2007 - 2pm

Richard donated his body to medical science. On Saturday 7th April we will have an informal gathering at 2pm at a site at Ledmore & Migdale which has been dedicated in his memory. We would be delighted to see anyone who wishes to join us.

When, Where, and How to Get There
7th April 2007, Ledmore & Migdale Wood, 2pm at the View Point (see map)
Ledmore & Migdale Wood is about an hour's drive north of Inverness on the A9. From the north side of Dornoch Firth, take the A949 to Spinningdale Village which lies on the eastern fringe of the wood.

We will meet at the View Point, the centre of the area that has been dedicated to Richard (Grid Ref NH659 895, OS Map: Landranger 21) at 2pm.

There is a car park is on the single-track road that runs northwest from Spinningdale to Bonar Bridge. The track from the car park to the Dedication Point is marked on the Woodland Trust map
The nearest train station to the wood is Ardgay, about 6 miles away
The nearest airport is Inverness Airport , an hour south. British Airways, British Midland, EasyJet, Ryanair, and Flybe all have flights to here.
There is one of the finest Scottish Youth Hostels, Carbisdale Castle, full of art treasures, 10 miles away from Ledmore & Migdale. See www.carbisdale.org
